Worship on the Run

I’m so out of shape, both physically and spiritually. However, my two mile late-night run tonight turned into a worship service. I spoke to God; I lifted up my friends and family before God; I thanked God for abundance and blessings; for being able to walk, run and breathe freely in a free land; I looked to the skies, all starry-eyed and I listened. I had no grape juice, but there was communion. I had nothing to offer God, but my full attention; I was reminded how much I love a God who is so crazy about me, despite me; so crazy about us, despite us! Isn’t that crazy!
